| Hi Adam, welcome to THE forum I believe the standard height of a standard kombi is 1.95m, however the height of YOUR kombi will depend on 4 things: 1) tin top or pop top - does it have a raising roof? ~+10cm 2) standard or low - standard ride height or has your kombi been lowered? ~-10cm 3) vent or sun - does your kombi have a domed vent or flat sunroof? Dome ~+10cm 4) nice rack - does your kombi have a roof rack, which one? ~+10cm That gives you a range of approx 1.85m for a lowered height kombi with a tin top with no rack and flat or no sunroof, to 2.15m for a standard height kombi with a pop top with dome vent or roof rack. Have fun! ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| IIRC a Danbury lowered kombi with a Danbury poptop, with no sunroof or flat fitted one, is 2m. (A roof rack would add to this.) | |

| Hi and welcome. Have a search under 'problems with the height of my T2' and you'll find that I had the same issue a few years ago. I'm glad to say my Kombi is tucked away warm and dry in my standard sized single garage as we speak. | |

| Welcome Adam. Plenty of advice and tips to be found here. In the classified section there's a sticky guide on what to look for when buying used. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Hi Adam and welcome. my standard single garage (built in the 50s) had to have the lintel raised and therefore new doors to accommodate my bus...but well worth all the work to get him in a nice dry space. | |

| If you can stretch your budget a bit further I'd also take a look at the 2009 LHD with the VW Downunder interior that VW Kampers have for sale. Lots of spec at a good price. It's been around a little while so you could look to get the price down further. Good luck with your search. | |
