| The only issue I ever had with a lhd car here was having to slide across to get a ticket out of a machine in a car park.
You probably won't be taking a BraziBay in a multi-storey car park, ergo ..... ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay

| My camper is left hand drive. When I bought I was slightly concerned how I would manage. Mine isn't a daily driver but I haven't had any problems with being positioned on the left. Overtaking can be an issue but how often do I do that in my camper. Pros The camper will be cheaper than a rhd The steering hasn't been messed with Cons Overtaking when you can't see what's coming the other way Getting in the wrong side - still doing it after 2 years Selling a lhd will be more difficult I'm sure there are more to add but match of the day is on! | |

| I would not worry about overtaking. It won't happen very often. :-) ________________________________________________________________________________ Visit my T2c Blog at http://t2bay.blogspot.co.uk/ | |

| My first camper, 1977 Westfalia, was LHD. I was surprised at how quickly I adapted, so as well as saving £1,000 it wasn't a difficult decision to make when given the choice. But we like travelling around Europe so if you're staying put, I'd go for RH. | |

| It is interesting to see as time ticks by on our 'significant options' poll how a RHD conversion has become less important. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Adam, both my campers are LHD and its never been an issue.
You will save £££ buying LHD so thats a big plus!
We sold a lovely 09 LHD for £25k the other day, thats £3000 under what it would have been if RHD! ________________________________________________________________________________ www.vwkampers.co.uk

| £1000 @ Danbury only. Although that tends to be the price when they're converting from scratch. May be more as a retro thing. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| No problems when I go through a drive thru. I get the wife to pay!
On a serious note I've never had an issue with LHD. As the others have said it did save me some cash on the asking price as I used it as a bargaining tool. That saving has given me the opportunity to spend some money on my Kombi for the future. Certainly not a deal breaker.

| I love my LHD Bessy blue, no real issues, I have fresh air vents that work a treat, have heard this not always the case on rhd. It also adds to making it a little more different! | |
