OOOH!

Just found a ski/snowboard carrier that connects directly to the MaxxRaxx mount!

Always good to be prepared!

Also it suggests that other 'adapters' may be on the cards to carry more/different things on the rack.

I've got a four bike rack, which I use on the back of my Passat:-

http://www.roofbox.co.uk/scripts/rbvehsel4_tab.php/car-specific-accessories/buzz_rack_buzz_quattro_tilting_4_bike_carrier_no_brp204/Qx%40w%2C6M42VAwp3%40Rb%7B~cC4ure5Jvj%60

It tilts as well. It's 19.2kg. I would recommend it.

I'm looking at this for Bumble, a two bike version:-

7.8kg weight.

We wanted to be able to use the towbar while also carrying bikes, which is why we went for a MaxxRaxx.

Finally made a decision and ordered a Thule Easybase with the two bike extension kit, also opted for the Easybag... It might come in very handy next weekend!!

Stan is in the market for a bike rack. Will you be modelling it at the sleep over? We just need to source a towbar!

Yep it should make it's first outing at the sleepover (as long as it arrives in time) so come have a look...

We can recommend the Watling detachable tow bar (complete with club discount, which a growing band of us now have).

Thanks Sunny , I appreciated your glowing report , had a good chat with a dealer and seems to fit our needs perfectly. I did look at the Thule Hard Back Up Box but the dealer talked me out of it on the basis that is was heavy and took up a lot more storage space than the fold out bag.. Pleased already with my purchase just waiting on the delivery!
See you at the sleepover.
