| Hello. We picked up Iris last Friday and we are super excited! She's sitting in our driveway looking beautiful as I write this. My wife thinks I'm a geek for joining a forum, but I have already found lots of useful info on here; awning, insurance, etc, and I'm sure there's plenty more useful stuff to be found. We'll look forward to seeing some of you on our travels! We're planning our first trip down to devon at the end of the month. I wish it was sooner.  | |

My wife also thinks it's strange that I joined a forum
If someone told me a few years ago that I'd be driving round in a vw camper, meeting up with other camper owners and even spending my summer holiday with them I'd have laughed in their face

| What made you decide on the name Iris? Our Iris is named partly after my husbands deceased auntie Iris, who was spookily connected to our meeting up. But that's a story for another time.....  | |

There's no story to us choosing the name Iris I'm afraid. We just liked the name! In fact, so much so that my wife is worried that if we ever have a daughter, she'll want to name her Iris too! | |
