| We run a B&B in Perranporth and that is the May Bank Holiday, so busy time for us. However, we might be able to get there on the Sunday after Breakfast and rooms are done. There's Heaven 17, Toya Wilcox and The Boomtown Rats playing that day.  Have to see if we can make it.

| Ok a quick synopsis of Volksfest Plymouth on Sunday: Firstly there weren't that many VWs there. I think many may have stayed Friday and Saturday and then Sunday went to Newquay for the Run To The Sun festival as Sunday was Show & Shine Day. From the amount of staff on, the previous days must have been much busier. The barman said it was frantic, but we got served straight away on Sunday. That said, Razorlight were headlining on Saturday. There were the usual festival stalls and sideshow tents but very little in the way of any VW specific merchants. Again maybe RTTS distracted them. The event was very well organised, although some sign posts to it would have helped. We were parked 4 large fields away from the arena and it was ALL uphill on the way back to the car (calf's suffering today). The headline acts were switched around so Toyah Wilcox was first. She was great! Heavan 17 followed. A long wait for their only known song 'Temptation' which they milked. Bob Geldof and the Boomtown Rats were absolutely bloody fantastic. All this for the paltry sum of £35ea. BARGAIN!
