Depending on how smoothly my Edinburgh roundtrip goes on Friday and the weather on Sat am, Jnr and I may well be running Thunderbird 1 down to Busfest for the day. Will post up decision here Sat am and hope to meet up with BraziBunchers.

Didn't make it today. British Airways decided we didn't need to get home on time on Friday night - spent most of it in Edinburgh Airport. We were so late getting in that an early 2 hour drive over to Malvern lost its appeal. Hope those that went had a great time.

We didn't take any pics of any worth as I do everything on my phone and my battery died. We arrived there at about 10am Friday morning and left at around 4.30 pm on Sunday afternoon.
This is only the 2nd VW event we've been to so haven't a lot to compare it with. The 1st was the camper jam and I preferred that as we thought it was big enough for a good weekends entertainment.
Yet again though, what a friendly group of people the VW lot are, although apparently our Brazilian didn't seem to fit the VW purist image of the perfect VW to a couple of new camping acquaintances, they might have thought different when we saw them sat waiting for the AA on the hard shoulder on the way home.
Think we need to become self sufficient in the future as the food was sub standard and the drinks were overpriced as they are at a lot of all types of events anywhere anyway..
we asked for general camping tickets and were sent family tickets by mistake, but in all fairness they organisers were pretty relaxed with the camping so it was ok in the end.
Thought the entertainment was fabulous on an evening and catered for everybody... a little disappointment is that dogs weren't allowed in with us to the entertainment. apparently this wasn't the case in previous years. Although ours is a little Border Terrier so sits quite happily in a large shoulder bag we have for her, so we were a bit naughty and sneaked her in.. Don't know what wed have done if we'd had a Great Dane though...
Huge amount of traders with lots of good stuff,
Spent too much as we expected. the sun shone, and a good time was had by all I would think.
No extra charges whatsoever, I think quite a few people had complained over that and the organisers listened to them, Brotherhood of man were there, an Abba tribute band, Elvis was actually in the building this year and was very good. A 4 piece band doing 60s stuff including the Beatles were very good. A Ska band, And on the fringes there were small acoustic stuff at quite a few places...and more that we didn't see. the entertainment was very good. And for the price we paid for 2 of us to camp for the whole weekend I really think it was good value for money.
Another thing which might not matter to some but does to us is that there were permanent toilets. The ones which we used were spotlessly clean, there was a chap in ours cleaning every time I went and the missus said the same about the ladies with a lady cleaner....
Glad the organisers listened, back in 2011 they charged an extra £15 to gain entry to the entertainment marquee - there were 6 Brazi there that year plus the F-I-L in his motorhome.
Kept looking to see if anyone was there from this group but the place is huge....it's the needle in a haystack scenario... Some amazing transporters of all kinds though...
Think we'll still put in an appearance at the busfest next year...and we're not too bothered about the purists as we met some really good people there as well. But I agree with you Tim,the CamperJam comes out tops. Santapod was mentioned as a good event as well...so we might try it there as well.
That rat look split with 'Jeans' interior was also at Vdub Island (and prob lots of other shows too) but did look very nice and also has fully hydraulic adjustable suspension.

Jeanius!
I do love Rats, would seem a bit wrong to do it to a Brazzie though.
