Who's Fueling Who?

We noticed before the Bank Holiday that our local Asda had the following fuel rates:
Petrol 107.7p per litre
Diesel 105.7p per litre
They appear to be the lowest in our area.
What provider offers the cheapest fuel rates where you are?

Filled up at local Esso for 104.9/litre. Sadly only my bike, so only put in £12 to fill up but cheapest I've seen in ages. Also, with the car being electric hybrid, that rarely sees the petrol pump either.

Filled up with E85 for €0.79 while in France. With the exchange rate that gave us a full tank for less than £23 ! Gotta love a Brazi Bay running on ethanol!!!

Might cost a bit to top up again.

The Esso on our route out of Reading (Berkeley Avenue) is currently £107.9 and the cheapest by a penny or so at the moment, however the Asda garage a mile away in Tilehurst (used to be a Texaco) is the price setter and is normally a few pennies cheaper than everywhere else.

Just finished the tank of fuel I bought in France. That worked out at 96p per litre.
Filled up again at ASDA for 108.7p a litre.

BP was £1.079 - so not too bad - not sure how the bill came to so much tho - maybe it was the iced and spiced bun and bottle of wine - love a 'simply food' opportunity but shouldn't go on way home when hungry!

I'll check out our local Asda later today on a pre-DitF topup.

Nice. We tend to save up our points and use the at Christmas - oops, sorry, didn't mean to use the 'C' word!!!

Mentioned once, might get away with it, suggest we doo not mention it before Halloween

10 Nectar points is worth 5p so you need to buy a lot of fuel to top up your 'C' fund.

And about the same for us last night, will need to fill up again after our trip to Brighton.

Yes we agree, but unfortunately, it is only one small step.

Well it's a start but according to the write up the signs will be displaying the prices at the different services on the motorway and not anywhere else, so will therefore only be displaying the prices of the most expensive places to fill up.

As an example, we met beakyboy at Reading services en route to the Halloween bash where the price for unleaded was £118.9 but just a mile up the road, less than 100yards from Junction 12 of the M4 there is Sainburys selling unleaded at £105.9 - this is the info we need on the motorway signs.

For anyone in the mood for Swedish meat balls, the new IKEA is also taking shape at junction 12 and will be opening next summer.
