Close Kiteman the piece of wood in the pic was my switch panel in my old glovebox it was always a temporary solution I wanted to make it from carbon fibre.

Yet another load of misc garden tools, scrap metal and ladders (4m double extension ladder fits inside!) collected and unloaded. Just one more load should do it, that's my BH Monday sorted and I can get back to using Tallulah for camping!

We went to West Wittering yesterday pm. Parked up next to another BraziBay. They had just purchased their '07 Kombi from VW Kampers and it was their first trip out! I did spot another Brazilian later in the day but didn't get a chance to speak to them. If you're ever on the South coast it's a great spot to hang out for the day.

Went to Bath yesterday and stopped off at Salisbury today

Sad news A@C... Today we had our van serviced by the lovely guys at VW Kampers.. We've booked back in on our way to the Kombi Sleepover to have a Retro Steering Wheel and Empi Shifter fitted... Took the opportunity to take in some sunshine and fish and chips in Brighton

Moving Prudence on will be a huge wrench for C and me. Since purchasing her in January 2010 we had covered 30000 miles on journeyys to (mainland) Scotland , England, Holland , Germany and 3 times to France as well as weekends away at home here in Shetland and trips to Tesco for the necessaries. Prudence has lacked for nothing upkeep wise - latest being specially prefabricated stainless steel water pipes. However the time has come to move to a T5 which I know , you guys, will consider no less than treachery. Can I say that in the time I have been engaged with the e forum, I have found you all to be more than helpful. I would recommend membership to be essential for Brazilbay owners

How much do you want for Prudence?

We are asking for £24500 but we're not too optimistic about selling her locally. We would not expect buyers to travel to Shetland but we would take her to the mainland for a "serious" offer.

We collected Primrose from Danbury on Friday, and stopped off via Bournemouth on the way back to Sussex. I now have biceps bigger than when I started out, thanks to the steering !

Tallulah is enjoying the sun in the Oxfordshire countryside with a very nice family and a V excited 8 year old who said "wow, a sunroof, I can watch the stars all night and not go to sleep at all!"

I drove my BraziBay to work. Someone's got to keep typing in the numbers down The Hatch!

Hi all im glad to see this topic is so popular.. I changed my petrol cap today
there has been a smell of petrol recently i think the pressure relief from petrol cap was faulty. heritage supplied a new one minus the locking barrel
A bit of a fiddle to swap barrel over but its all back together and that smell of petrol has gone!!!!

Fed up stirring the pudding every time i changed gear and fitted an empi gear stick. on the test drive struggled with 1st gear and handbrake so off with the gearstick and a couple of whacks with mr sledge (bent 10degrees)
to the right it now misses the hand brake by a couple of inches....
