Easter Eastern Activity Weekend 25 - 28 March

Looking for a fun Easter Weekend?  We've got it sorted for you.  

The club has yet to visit Norfolk as a group and it looks like there's a lot we've not seen yet in that part of the world.  I'll let local residents URmysunshine take it from here as they've done the research:

There is direct access to the stunning beach at Wells and the town is a short walk away.

Hunstanton is approx a 45 min Kombi Konvoy drive where there is slipway access to the beach available for watersports, a cafe, more lovely coastal walks and the usual seaside town attractions!

So a cracking time to be had with lots of different stuff for people to do.  I'll be taking my jet ski if anyone wants a ride and I'm sure others will be taking their watercraft.  Looks worth taking bikes along too!  Plus we've got some celebrations going on over the weekend too!

NB: the campsite do not allow the use of stand alone tents.  They do allow awnings at a cost of £3 extra per night.

Of course, there will have to be an Easter egg hunt or it wouldn't be Easter! Scooby...an opportunity for you to dress up as the Easter bunny?!

It's walking distance from the town for fish & chips or for something different there's an old Dutch cargo ship permanently moored in the harbour that's been turned into a restaurant! Their specialty is pancakes but amazing omelettes and other dishes & beer also available! http://albatroswells.co.uk/

The campsite also has direct access to a stunning beach for walks.  Not sure if this beach is suitable for water sports but Wells is a good location for exploring nearby towns & activites.

Looks good, URms. I've only been to Wells twice and once was touring on a bike. I do remember the Dutch ship though.

URmysunshine - What about a visit to Holkham or Sandringham - would it be doo-able over Easter?

I'm sure a Campervan konvoy trip out somewhere would be coo-able Scooby. Might be best to wait nearer the time & see what events/activites are on nearby maybe?

Sounds like a plan. Good Friday is the start of our school Easter holidays so we may well stay longer.

Also, it will be our wedding anniversary on the Saturday and my birthday on the Monday - party!!!

Another birthday here too on the same day as yours Keith, 28th, so party it will be We are considering an extension to that weekend too as we don't know that area and it is school hols for the boys.

I've paid my deposit - £5 per night.

Be aware they charge £3 per night extra for an awning!

Please can you clarify the £94.00 as it looks like that is for 4 nights.  
Traditional Easter break is 3 nights - arriving Friday, staying Friday, Saturday and Sunday nights, then leaving on Monday.

Not really
Website states £22.00 per night (incl. electric hook up) from 21st March to 27th March.
Website states £28.00 per night (incl. electric hook up) from 28th March to 10th April.
Three day Easter break is Friday 25th, Sat 26th and Sun 27th with Easter Monday 28th March.
3 nights at £22.00 = £66.00, if you add Monday night (4th Night) = £66.00 + £28.00 = £94.00.
So, where does 3 nights at £94.00 come from?

Sorry Scooby, I misunderstood your post initially! Too much Christmas stuff going on in my head    

Ok, to clarify....the price list online is for 2015, prices have changed for 2016. We are staying on a 'super' pitch as they will no longer be using 'tern' pitches as these are the grass ones and due to previous weather conditions they've decided to only use hard standing.

We are paying 1 night (Friday) at £26 and 2 (Saturday & Sunday) x £34 = £94.

I hope that makes sense now
