Traffic queuing in the inside lane to get into Lidl car park on A240. I am in the outside lane going 15-20 miles/hour and this girl just pulls out into the side of Morrison Anyway passenger door and side panel copped it She admitted it was her fault (didn't see me!), but just wondering if anyone knows if her insurance will stipulate where we get the van paintwork etc fixed or is it best to insist it goes back to Danbury. Thanks.

Pretty sure you have the right to decide where it goes for fixing. If it was your own insurance they could 'suggest' the excess may be higher if it is repaired by someone not approved by them although I'm not sure they have any legal standing with that.

Bad times. But it happens.
I'd be going down the route of 'specialist vehicle' requires 'specialist repairer.'
Morrison is a valuable vehicle and you don't want your investment compromised by a less than perfect repair.

Sounds like rough day but at least no one was hurt . Give Matt at Danbury a call on 01454 310000. He will book you in and arrange a free loan car for you and deal with the insurance company / quotes etc . It will soon be back to its former glory
