Beat the blues, with some booze. Saturday, 13th Feb, Manchester

Whilst I'm sure that the grass roots of Spring are starting to show their heads in the South, up here some of us are still deep into the winter blues, so a few of us are going to get together for a few beers in Manchester on Saturday, 13th February.

The venue is The Beermoth Beer and Coffee Bar and we're aiming to meet around noon.

I've set up an event on the Forum Facebook page but, if you don't have FB, maybe add your name on this post and I'll update the list regularly.

We're heading south to visit a friend in Devon that weekend, sorry.

As it's Valentine's Weekend we have other plans

Sorry we won't be able to make it but have an ace time

Not out of the question for us , I need to go client visiting next week and could conveniently choose Manchester for the Friday.. We are waiting though on Holly's plans for Saturday night. If she's happy to have Sat Night at home dog sitting then we'll be up for this.. Keep you posted.

I think 'beating the blues' is a great title for anyone who supports the red side of Merseyside, eh Beakyboy.

Beakyboy, we cant make it as im working that weekend and have something on in the evening but if you want to park on our drive your welcome. we're in Holmfirth about 30 mins away from Manchester by train and i'd be happy to drop you at the train station on my way to work.
Also i could arrange for you to be collected at the train station that evening and dropped back at our house.

Just thinking, if theres anyone else needing to camp overnight en route for the same beat the blues do.... your welcome to park up...

Just a quick note to let you know that the first 2016 meet in the North (albeit sans campers) went very well. Beer was drunk, laughs were had and Chinese food was consumed.
