Yeah. From "Tin Top" To "Pop Top"  great work from Danbury, then drove to "Bromsgrove Auto Trim" for a complete new interior re-trim. Pick up in two weeks… Steve n Sue

Looking good. Cant wait to see the new interior.

Fitted a new amp and rear speakers. Next job front speakers.

Oh.... also did some dynamat installing!

Fitted the projector....

Had to cut the screen a little in the corners to allow it to fit. Also will obviously move the kitchen unit back towards the rear seats to allow the full screen view when actually watching something. Pretty straightforward install. Brings a whole new meaning to "drive-in cinema". Bella is loving it!

The problem with the lights from a few weeks back was a poorly soldered live wire joint that had broken.
Paul at Brand Autos quickly located the problem and fixed it for us - thanks Paul.  

We've seen the light ever since!  

Will check again tonight though when filling up with fuel.

When coming home from rehearsals Today, I called into the local corner shop. When I came out I saw a very eccentric looking gentleman taking a very close interest in Louie. As I approached, he held out his hand to me and introduced himself as Nigel Skeet. It transpires he is incredibly knowledgable and highly thought of in the T2 world , having written multiple technical documents on the subject (I have since googled him) what an interesting man ! What was really nice, was that there was no disparaging remarks about Louie being Brazilian - just lots of interesting facts! We swapped email addresses as he promised to send me details of a periscope mirror for driving abroad .... Then we parted company - myself in Louie and Nigel walking off down the road carrying his shopping - in a wheelbarrow!!!! VW's certainly bring people together !

Took Sadie out for a spin on this fine bright day.
