Now that the winter is on it's way and I won't be using Ginger as much, thinking of getting a cover to keep her warm and dry.
Do any of you guys use them and are they any good, was wondering if they would cause more problems with moisture by 'sweating' and not letting the any dampness evaporate.

I had a justkampers one last winter on my camper (an old 1970 t2 ) To be honest it was a total waste of time and did more harm than good. It wasnt waterproof so when you took it off it was stuck to the van with water. It collected water around the elasticated bit, on the old van this sat against the (cheapo) hub caps and made them rusty! In my experience - I wont be bothering, Ill just keep the van clean, and every 3rd wash (ish) Ill get the hose and sponge under the sills and arches and keep an extra eye when the roads have been salted. My van is used everyday anyway.

Gonna take your advice dean&jo, won't bother with the cover, heard stories of them scratcing the paint work as well, Will give ginger a good waxing and gloss guard instead.

Best time to clean the underside is when you've been out in the wet - as it loosens it all up.

A friend of mine has just bought a simular product to the CarCoon cover / bag from Germany. Hes only just started using it but says it looks good and keep the moisture away when being dry stored....Has anyone else used something simular? Thinking of getting one for my 1928 Vauxhall tourer (as my T2 is always being used so never sat around long enough to cover up!)

Hi Kiteman We agree, you should not cover up for the reasons others have stated We keep Scooby out in the open - fresh air is good Try to use every couple of weeks - likes a run Just need to be careful of the "R" word Scooby has some, but plenty of life in the old dog yet! Any way, we have had the worst of the weather (hopefully) Roll out the sunshine
