Did previously invest in Kiteman's OBD home build Arduino system which showed lots of info and was a guide to economical motoring. The display was near the windscreen and easy to see. However I found this too distracting and just keeping an eye on the parameters and how they were changing all the time was taking attention from the road. So pulled it all out and went back to the basics which provide the joy of the BraziBay osg

I like the idea of this one being directly in front - the shape of the dashboard should mean it’s perfectly angled. However I wonder if it’s a wireless connection to the OBD connector because those us Airbus drivers, our socket is in the engine bay, whereas the AquaBay’s is under the dash.

Yes, our reversing camera is WiFi and there is indeed poor reception at the dash from the aerial in the engine compartment. Worth checking . osg

OBD2 extension cables are available for about £8.00, which means that if it is wireless, at least you could get the 'sender' inside the cabin space. If it is wired then you would probably need several daisy chained together as I think they are about a metre long. (there may be longer ones about).
