Hello happy campers! We have just got a new addition to our family, Olive, our first campervan. We have two small kids age 3 and 1. Any tips for campervanning with little ones greatly appreciated!

Congratulations on your new addition. This is the place for everything Brazi Bay so please doo look around the website. Plenty of info on most subjects, the events section lists current meet ups planned. Our tip would be to enjoy your Kombi. Roo by Roo

Hello and welcome! Not been campervanning with kids, but would imagine that of you don't have an awning then a wee pop up tent would be handy to store buggy, wellies etc. Most importantly, just enjoy!
(Should probably confirm that we don't actually have kids, it's not like we leave them behind when we go away )

Hi & Welcome,
we have two young girls and always have a small pop up tent for all the bits and pieces) on board and an awning. As already suggested it`s a good idea to start with short local trips, you will soon work out what you need. A small heater is also a good idea.

We have been taking our granddaughter away since she was three. You need to sort out the seat belts / booster seats. They need stuff to do while travelling. Best to get them sleeping up top as soon as possible. My wife had to sleep in the pop top the first few times. We arranged the upper bed in such a way that the opening was above our bed not above the floor so something soft to land on and easier to get them up and down.
We actually only travelled with 3/4 of the bed as little ones don't need the full length.
Have stuff to do on a rainy day and suitable shoes / wellies, wash bags and so on.
