Sun canopy size

Hi

I know that its a bit of a "how long is a piece of string?" question but we're interested to hear peoples experiences. We're looking at sun canopies (optimistic given that we're locked down, and its pouring down outside, but we can dream)

They come in 3 sizes, 2x2, 2.5x2.5, and 3x2.5

Since there will usually only be 2 of us, do you think the 2x2 will be sufficient?

Many of us have purchased sun canopies from Funky Leisure in the past.
Theirs cover the whole width of the van and measure 290cm x 300cm. It make sense to get something that gives you the maximum amount of shade.
