1st Brazilian Bay Cruise - to Stanford Hall - Sunday 2nd May 2010

This is a fabulous show that encompasses the entire Volkswagen group from the core cars through Audi, Porsche and no doubt Seat and Skoda by now. It's in a beautiful location and is always well attended by enthusiasts and traders alike. The best thing about it though is it's so family friendly - there's something for everyone.

For that reason I'd like to propose a meet up and (short) cruise of Brazilian Bays to the Stanford Hall Show. It's central location makes it accessible for many. We could meet up somewhere convenient and then convoy along to the event.

This will be the first mass get together of Brazilian Bays since this website and Facebook group started - it would be great to see you there.

Hi Tim, We've just returned from a very cold week down in Bude. Very cold, playing football on the beach in the snow and hail!! Brrrrr.
This looks a good show and as it's a bank holiday weekend, may go up on the Saturday or find a campsite nearby and make a long weekend of it!

That sounds like a great idea actually Kaz. My son's got a mate staying for the weekend - camping somewhere the night before nearby may be a good way of keeping the boys entertained. Let me know if you find somewhere.

Weird - I was thinking of heading down to Bude for a long weekend this weekend. Were you camping, were there many others there?

Erm, nope. Far too cold for camping for me. I draw the line at snow and hail!! It was quite quiet, but I spotted a few die hard surfers. We just enjoyed lots of fish and chips and cold walks along the beach. My friend has a beautiful cottage down there and we often go during the schools hol's. Very lucky. Will keep you informed of possible campsites near Stanford. Will get a chance to have a good look later this week. Just got back from swimming lessons, quick pasta for dinner and I think I'll be asleep first!!

I've just sorted an overnight stop for the Saturday at a place that looks very nice. Bearing in mind I'll have 2 junior crewmembers on board I thought this place looked ideal Brook Meadow.
£15 with hook up for the pitch. About a 15 minute drive from Stanford Hall.

Ok so not too long for this one now and it'd be great to get a bunch of Brazilians together!

Oops, seems I'm double booked that day, sorry. I'm going to a ball in Cardiff for a freinds birthday. Know where I'd rather be, haven't been to a ball since 1989!!! Don't think I'll fit into my frock!! If not everyone goes to the ball, I will def be coming to Sandford.

A couple of weeks to go now .... come on you know you want to!! It'll be a fun day out in your Bay.

In case you decide to come along I'm stopping on Saturday night here before heading down to the show early Sunday am.
