| Can anyone recommend curtain fabric suppliers/makers for VW campervans? I want to upgrade Eva's boring beige ones for something a bit more jazzy. | |

| Hi Guys - Theres lots of different suppliers for this on e bay but you could just get the standard curtains that you already have and choose some funky fabric (local shop or internet) and simply stitch it over the old ones.....Ive seen this done and it looks good and your not limited to what a curtain supplier can offer you... | |

- Hey Stoney have a look at this company:
www.vwcampercurtains.co.uk/
They are based in Lincolnshire and they were at Alive n Vee Dubbin,Suffolk last year. They look very good.
Peppa I used this company, they are very good and offer the curtains with lining and a complete blackout between the curtain and liner. They also have a good way to curtain the cab without using any rails.

Tim, there is no such thing as 'fireproof' the fabric may be fire retardant to a certain level which is BS tested and not give off toxic fumes.

| In case anyone's thinking along the same lines - I thought I could dye the dreylon curtains in my Kombi. However 2 leading authorities in haberdashery (ie the Hinge and Brackett duo in the local wool shop) say it won't take a dye. Project postponed.
