| OI OI ! Hi guys and Gals my name is Gary and my partner is Jane I've been into dubs for about 8 years but Jane is newcomer to the scene but enjoys the camping experience. Today I took her out in my split which made her Larf! We went to danbury on saturday and are contemplating buying a year old bay. It's the basic model in white, with bench seat in back, but has the pop top and underseal applied and goes by the name of Jack. I've owned a 74 Devon so bays are still in my heart, so when we talked about getting one i thought how about a watercooled! The price shocked me a bit but it's brand new and wont require a complete overhaul before we can use it . Tomorrow we will probably be paying the deposit ordering some bits and choosing the bottom half colour, hopefully the first outing will be Vanwest but if not Plymfest will be the target. I will post some pics when we get some but it's white and not very interesting yet. Hope you all enjoy the coming season regards Gary & Jane | |

| Oh Yeah! Oh Yeah! we got it ooh baby we got it, Deal done guys and gals deposit paid, heated front screen, split charge, interior lights and the lower half painted in........................ Flash red, sorry to all the blue fans (me being one) but red won the day. I was a bit put out that there wasn't a heated front screen as standard, because for the SVA test the vehicle must have front de-frost/mist capabillity something denied by Danbury, if anyone can shed light on this I would appreciate it. We are hoping to pick Jack up at the Sat 2nd April meet which coincides with my Birthday and Jane's birthday is on the Monday great Pressie or what. We did see Dilly there today just as he was pulling out of the gate nice reg number mate . So now the fun begins, Bring on the bling so any suggestions will be greatly received. my first question is can we fit hirst style shifter etc? Only got one shot today on the phone camera so will upload asap. Have a great evening all A very happy Gary and Jane. | |

It clearly states this on the SVA test. However, you have the option of buying a heated front windscreen. If you have RHD the flaps on the van are sealed so you have no way of getting air through the vents, however look at Kitemans method of opening these vents or his way of diverting the warm air from the cab heater. Do you have a cab heater fitted?

However ,you have the option of buying a heated front windscreen. That's my point, it should have one fitted, it should not be an option, the vehicle without this screen is illegal on the road according to SVA. It just seems to be a bit of a money maker
