'Twas the night before Volksworld 2011 and 3 shiny BraziBays lay sleeping:




After a bit of an early queue the Saturday crew were in situ.

We had a great spot at the foot of the steps down from the main restaurant at Sandown and just to the left of all the food stalls. We had a captive audience at all times - mainly because we smelled of tasty burgers.

We got up even EARLIER on Day 2 - not just because the clocks had sprung forward but because we wanted to be near the front of the queue to get in.

Sunday's pitch - we had more time to set up - the spacing of the Kombis was much improved on Saturday.

Then serious discussions began about how max could splash out on his very raw AquaBay:

Seeing that this was Census Day, the general consensus was new lenses all round. Result - one happy chap and a slicker Kombi:

The dress-up didn't stop there. Both max and 2007 t2 lhd had their BraziBays swiftly booked into my lab for a door mirror switch. You can't beat the mix of fresh and retro on a Kombi.

Great pic's all, and congratulations on the first Brazilian showing. You got a prime spot there, all those people staring at brazilians over lunch, they most proberbly ended up as the most looked at vehicles other than the ones inside.

Well done guys! Looked fantastic! The Danbury stand had a really busy show too so looking forward to getting some more Brazi Bays out on the road soon and some more club members too! Hope to see as many that can come to our open day this Saturday

good work people... looks great, gutted I missed it (being in Canada is a small consolation!) I look forward to getting back to the UK in April and out in the van. will def. be around for shows later in the year. see you all soon.
