| Thinking of doing the interior like a 50s American diner - Aqua and white quiled vinyl seats.
My brother has given me a bibendum that goes on the roof of a lorry and lights up - Going to use it as an interior light sitting on the top of the cabinet. | |

| Betsy is coming on great and the interior is almost finished We changed the flooring to Madmatz charcoal and ice tiles because the black and white B&Q tiles were lifting. Try not to lay a floor in sub zero conditions - you have been warned. The seats have been covered by a local vehicle trimmer in vinyl. Vintage American diner look acheived! Here are a few pics | |

| Thanks for your comments Where did you get the wheel arch carpets or are they custom They are from Newton Commercial. Took the flooring out from the footwell so the kick plates can be fitted to match the doors Do you find the Dynamat in the cab makes a difference [/quote] To be honest I didn't drive it that much before the dynamat went in. Overall I think doing the dynamat has made the camper feel/sound more solid if that makes sense. | |

| Betsy has passed her MOT today with flying colours and had her second service. The mechanic has told me to get some miles done in her. Upto just over 3000 km now. That works out at 1000km per year. So with the French trip, Club meet and the Northern Sleepover as well as a few festivals (Latitude and YNOT) I'm sure I can more than double her mileage this year! I've put her back to bed as she likes to sleep in the cold weather and she will come out of hibernation towards the end of March I think. Just seen the info under my picture. Don't very often see my age wrote down. 42 - where have all the years gone! Happy New Year to you all and hope you are all working hard on your vans so I can pass on the Star Kombi award. I'm pleased to see so many vans are now sporting the painted dash - makes such a difference. Anyway enough of my ramblings - I'm off for a jog to lose some of the Christmas pounds I put on. | |

| Merry Xmas and a Happy New Year, Marcus. I'll bet you've got plans to make Betsy even better this year.
I can't see you giving that trophy up without a fight. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder
