| Well it was a tough choice, but after weighing up the pro's and cons, A weekend away at a lovely little site in sunny ZummerZet won the day. We both would have loved to go to Sandown especially as Jane enjoyed Dubfreeze so much, but the thought of the Journey, crowds of dubbers, and being pushed around in a wheelchair the appeal sort of faded a bit. Plus we knew that there was going to be a good representation of Brazi bays, so off to Porlock we went. As it was a snap decision, and I was the only fit person going, we decided to go awning free, or Naked, as i like to call it . The site is www.porlock.co.uk | |

| The site is pretty basic but there is hook up available which we made use of a Laundry room, washing up room (they even supply w/u liquid and bowls) freezer, payphone, showers and loo's. | |

| Saturday night's all right for fighting let a little BBQ in? All the grub was bought locally, the Butcher was brilliant! So much nicer than a trip to the supermarket. | |

| We also shared the site with some Classics! Bedford CA not restored all original Even the engine is untouched amazing! I remember going to Scotland in one of these back in 1971 we ran out of petrol on the A9 in the middle of nowhere 76 Westy in lovely nick. This Ambassador is used as the site utility wagon and a nice type 25. | |

| Overall a cracking site within reach of Minehead, Exmoor, Lynmouth and the North Devon coast and of course the home of the infamous Porlock Hill. Jack with his Mates Next stop Stithians in Kernow! As it's a family show we will be clothed for this one | |

| Looking good, thanks for sharing. I love BBQs that allow you to eat your entire weeks meat allocation in one meal! | |

| Lovely. Man I'm champing at the bit.
As an aside, I remember flying Porlock in my hang glider, years ago when a member of the Devon & Somerset Condors.

| Yes - how to ruin a design even further - The Princess was fairly ungainly but then they tried updating it to that. Still Terry and June liked it.
Even more hilarious was the Marina to Ital transformation! And people worry about a bit of discolouration on their gutters ... Itals had rust starting on the production line! ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay
