new to T2s... just picked up my bay - checking where is the Jack is ?

the the bay is of course 3nd hand so not sure if over the years the jack gone missing or is it "TUCKED" away someway (check under the rock&roll bed .. just can not see one ... silly question nut want to be prepared

Not directly attached anywhere. Ours sits under the bed.
A black plastic pocket with 3 items. The black jack which has a fold out pin to fit the jacking points, an L-shaped wheel-nut wrench and a small wire horseshoe shaped puller with two prongs that fit the holes in the edge of the hubcaps.
We also have added in there the large spanner that is needed to replace the gas cylinder

Ours has always been under the bed. If it's not there you'll just have to look in all the cupboards. Just Kampers sell them for £60. You could also consider a bottle jack. That would be cheaper and avoids putting stress on the jacking points, but you do have to know safe and strong points to place it.

Mine is behind the front seat

If none onboard I'd go for the one that @Voyager has mentioned via Just Kampers. It'a an original VW Brazil product. They'll sell you a wheel brace too.

Ours is in a black plastic bag that is tucked in a recess under the drivers seat.

My jack is at the bottom of the cabinet next to rear seats, along with the gas bottle.

Scooby bought a bottle jack as we have a side step and would not be able to use the jacking points!

Voyager always carries the right size spanner to remove the side step!

Unfortunately, the previous owner welded the side step in to one of the jacking points
