A black 08 reg Kombi crashed into a 16th century tearooms in Shanklin old village last and caused considerable damage to the building and the van, then they drove off!! Apparently it was from a hire company in Leicester? Police have been informed and the ferries are being watched. Obviously drunk! Anyone know this van??

Edit, after quick search... Ha, shows what little I know. I thought it sounded Irish. Oops. Some Primary teacher I am.

Hey lostlogik - I too am a primary teacher but I did know it was the Isle of Wight. We have a black Kombi - not 08 though.
Not sure of the Leicester link - I live there and have never seen any black 08's and don't know of any hire companies based here.

That's all the tearoom lady told us, I'm sure they must have found the van by now, she was really traumatised though!!!
