I'm not. I'd rather have rain any day. Snow seriously impinges upon one's ability to do anything. Further, it's cold.

What a shame - no chance of coming over on Sat afternoon and stopping one night?

Sadly doubtful.

I won't finish until 4ish at the earliest and then we have to drive back from the school.

Just watching the news about the tour de france coming to Yorkshire. Passing through Swaledale and Ilkley. Does anyone know if the route passes the campsites that we were at last year and for the next Northern meet. Come on Geoff - you must know
The second stage comes through Bradfield (next village to us) before finishing in Sheffield at Don Valley Stadium.
Will have to have a walk up to see what all the fuss is about.

I don't know if it is passing Appletreewick but it's definitely heading over the Buttertubs Pass from Wensleydale to Swaledale then heading past the campsite we stopped at in Muker going through Reeth then back over the moor into Wensleydale and onto Ripon.

Two part-timers now booked to be there.
We should be there for the Friday and pitch taken over by Skytiger on the Saturday.
Looking forward to meeting up

You should blend in well with the location - Cherry and Absinthe seldom seen except amongst the country scene.

Hi Northern Peeps

We are a couple of southern softies hoping to join up with you . We are going to a party in Northumberland the following weekend and hope to get away, work permitting, that weekend, and wend our merry way northwards . We could probably get there for the sat and sun night . Don't want to book up just yet as not quite sure, but will do our best, sounds good fun
