| Well polish me barnacles, made it a bit later than originally planned had to divert from jct 13 didn't have a scooby where I was going, then i saw an albatross and he guided me via a welcome to Cambridge sign to jct 16 I think, and I hoisted me mainsail Haa Haaarrr. I would have a couple of images to post but I forgot the camera lead blast ye! Gina yes i was driving past you around 19:30 ish and saw a Co-op "good with food" distribution centre I'm just past Cambridge jct 35 A14. Daz it was cold me bucko, so some grog from the local inne did just fine. Pics will follow Happy Sailings Haa Haarr | |

| Well I back at home port after a fine sailing to the land of Cambridgeshire. After leaving Corley I sailed on into the night to the point where the sealane was closed and followed the stars (it was foggy actually but makes a better story) and without charts found a very welcome sign, So I was on the right track Finally reaching the small port of Burwell where I tied up for the night. The morning broke and the fog had lifted and Jack Just like Bagpuss let out a big Yawn. From there we found the Dockyard and Jack was hoisted aloft to expose his keel, Then it was off with 4 of the crew, Haa Haaarrr! His keel exposed, work began, But what be afoot, is this a Mutiny? where are the lubbers that left here this Morning? Well I'll be Keelhauled 4 new crew members to replace the scurvy dogs that jumped ship. Finally the work was complete and we were ready to set sail back to ZummerZett, En-route we called into Kettering for some victuals and I couldn't help taking this shot with his revised keel and new crew members I reckon He looks shipshape

| All work carried out by T2D drove in at 09:30 drove out at 17:30. Paul and the crew made me most welcome as much coffee as I could drink and the freedom to keep an eye on Jack. There was another Mex there having rustproof treatment (Primrose colour I think) but before I could get a photo it had gone. There was some lovely metal in the workshop, I took some snaps so will post in another thread. | |

| Thought it looked like the T2D workshop, plus the Cambridgeshire location was another clue. ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay | |

| Hi Daz, we have it on the calender matey, but it is my weekend to have my son. Not that it's a problem but we don't pick him up untill 18:30 on the Friday . If I can swing it, we may be able to get him earlier and arrive about the same time as last year, if not it may be a late morning pitchup on Saturday. Fingers crossed Dude! | |

| How did T2D drop the front was it beam adjusters or dropped spindles and was the rear turned on the splines, adjustable spring plates or boomerang plates?
Interested to hear what shocks you got to replace the originals
Also what size are your tyres and are they the same front to back?

Also what size are your tyres and are they the same front to back? ahoy shipmate t2d make their own drop spindles as for the back I think it was done on the splines however there's a unique feature on the Brazilian which restricts the drop height best give them a call for better explanation, they are very helpful just tell them you spoke to me,& you'll be walking the plank in no time .tyres are 185/15 not sure if it's 55 or60 profile, shocks are uprated , again best ask the guys at t2d for spec. | |

| Wow - that sure was some hit with the lowering stick - how's the suspension since Cap'n - not too hard? It looks completely incredible - I love a lowered Brazi - so cool! | |
