I'm sure everyone can think of a reason why they'd need an EHU! Wouldn't a generator suffice to run a rice cooker?

When I was a kid, I lived in Sutton Coldfield, next to the Park, at the time they held the World Scout jamboree in 1957.

I have a striking memory of us Brits living in bivvys made with ex army poncho/groundsheets, rubbing sticks together  to light fires, while in contrast our cousins from across the pond were living in frame tents, electric and gas laid on, cookers and fridges etc     , .....were they hardy souls....I don't think so.       (only jesting)
