KOMBI Kaper 2015

Ten would be an ideal number.

We're tagging on an extra week when we sail back. The plan us to find a cottage in the New Forest so that Gabbie can come down for a week with a friend (and Boz of course). Don't suppose any locals can recommend one.

i've dropped you a PM given mini me no. 3 is only 1 i would like to book a holiday home (flame suit on!) and then piggy back the Kaper if possible wife is more of a glamping kind too!

if this is possible to do by myself or through you that would be awesome as i would love to head down with everyone

I think they often leave the offices unmanned over winter, Tim. When we booked for 2011 with the site in St Martin I got an out of office telling me to contact them again in Feb! I did manage to get someone to answer the phone and they promised to make me a priority when the office re-opened.

Hi all. Looks like Lola may be joining the Kombi Kaper! Can anyone recommend a nice place to stay for one night between Nantes and Rennes. Perhaps a chateau?

Please note that there is a toll for the bridge between La Rochelle and the Ile de Re. It's currently 16 euros during the summer months per vehicle/crossing.

Use of the bridge by bicycle or on foot is free.

We rarely use the bridge whenever go. Plenty to do on the island. There's a regular bus service to La Rochelle which could be handy for a day trip.

You only pay on the bridge to get on the island, not to get off.

An interesting colour kombo this year too, various shades of green through blue, a couple of reds and a Yellange for added sunshine!

Last year, we left our car at La Rochelle in the car park on the mainland side and both cycled over (only 3km and up and down on the bridge).

We then cycled around the island all day and crossed back in the evening, watching the traffic jam to get off the island, not helped by an accident.

Yes, plenty to do on the island, or quite possible to cycle to La Rochelle and back in a day, if you're that way inclined.
