St Ives Empty
PostSubject: St Ives   St Ives EmptyTue Aug 31, 2010 9:51 am

Just got back last night from 4 days in St Ives Cornwall. Found a very good campsite Penderleath Touring Park about 3 miles outside of the town. Good facilities and not too big. The local bus company runs a bus from outside the campsite straight into the town on the half hour every hour for £1.75, you could cycle but its all uphill on the return. Weather was fantastic from Friday straight through till leaving yesterday. Saw an 08 plate Brazi from the rear on the harbour it had the spare wheel bolted onto the back with a stainless roof rack and looked duck egg blue. On the way home passed and tooted to a light blue 06 Brazi just outside St Ives was it you? I would certainly recommend this site as it is friendly and clean. Also tried out our new awning, Outwell Country from JK. Worked very well. clamped it to the gutter and it never moved during the night in the wind. It has a zipped in ground sheet and carpet which added a bit of comfort to it. To make things even better it took us 30 mins to unpack and erect first time without any cross words so that was money well spent.
