| Went down to Dorset for the day on Friday, after our plans were scuppered when we found out that we couldn't go for the weekend as the site was fully booked. Decided to look for some beaches we hadn't been to, for future reference. First one was at Eype, along a narrow lane, OK for kombis, but not motor homes or caravans Car park wasn't over-large, so looks like better to get there early, but only £4 all day. Another one we found was Seatown, much better for the old dogs, as no steps down to the beach, and a much bigger car park, and loos. (Both look good for beach fishing if you are into that) | |

| The lane down to Seatown is interesting in mid summer, lots of caravans and few passing places. We went there (as well as several other places) after the Kombi Kaper last year. We were staying at the site there, Golden Cap, when hurricane Bertha hit land, at Seatown..... Windy.... ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark
