| Hello all,
I've just joined and, after having a look around, I must say what a great site this is. I've met TimV through the message system and he was most welcoming.
My wife & I are in the process of buying a Kombi that is well known on this site. Her name is Magda & we should pick her up in about 2 weeks. A good number of the questions that I had in my mind have already been answered here, but if I have any more I'll be in touch.

Hello Harryhornet,
We had thought of a couple of names, but that was before we discovered she was already called Magda. I like the name and I think it will probably stay.

| Thank you all for your warm welcome. Should have the van soon, so starting to get excited.
The name debate has been going on in the family and the favorite changes practically every day. I think we may have to get it home and live with it for a while before deciding.

| Kombi names are interesting and important in our opinion. We agree that you should probably live with your Kombi for a little while before finalising a name. In our case, Scooby is the favourite cartoon character of Mrs S and it was always going to be named that.
