Bought my bus pretty run down, rust everywhere, hole in the side from bio fuel (chip fat!) filler cap. Spent on a respray, new battery trays, pop top material, windows removed rust sorted and put back in (no leaks any more!) New wheels, tyres, steering box, heater fixed, door cards removed and replaced with new. White half repainted. Prob loads more ive forgotten.
About to cut down the rear cupboards to allow full width bed. cant wait to get on with it next week!

Nice looking bus, keep up the good work, it will be worth it.
Do you have the standard air cooled engine, what's with the bio fuel filler?

yeah its a 1600i - runs great...! so when bus was in Brazil its was registered and used as a dual fuel vehicle. The bio fuel filler cap and hole was still there when i bought it even though the plumbing has been removed.

That's interesting, all the watercooled versions still have the bio fuel (ethanol) plumbing which makes for a cheap fillup when in Europe.
