Well, what started out as looking into maybe getting a camper next year ended up being fast tracked somewhat . . . Pleased to say she/he (name not yet decided) is here thanks to Ian and all the crew down at Brazilian Kampers, looking forward to using her/him as intended as soon as possible

If a girl, perhaps Marina - based upon that FAB Aqua colour and the 60's character from Stingray!

my wife thinks it`s a boy my eldest thinks it`s a girl, I`m not sure - on the one hand cars are normally described as her on the other hand I'm already outnumbered 3 to 1 so another male in the family . . . .

Perhaps you could consider 'Kai' as your Kombi name.
Reasoning: Keeping with the 'aqua theme' Kai is a 'unisex' Hawaiian name, meaning ‘ocean’ - although Kai is most commonly used for boys!
(it also has other meanings in other languages)

Or perhaps Wade as a 'boys' name, you see where this is flowing!

You also may want to spin the spare wheel cover so that the clasp is at the bottom. That way when water gets into the cover - which it will when you wash your BraziBay or it rains - the water will drip out of the bottom opening, rather than slosh about and against the front panel.

Keep the locking clasp well lubricated.

Name decided, he's called Larry.

Suggested by a friend of mine, I met my wife and most of my friends through clubs and music and I'm a huge fan of NY disco. One of my hero's was a dj called Larry Levan.

Edit: name didn't get passed by the rest of the family so he/she remains as yet, unnamed . . .

Looks like an air-cooled van to me. The spare wheel clip will rub on the bumper if you put it right on the bottom. I ended up taping ours up to stop it but it didn't work. Currently have the cover off.
Our pop top material at the front has a nice curved mark from too many times leaving a little sticking out.

Not necessarily. Depends on where the mount is fitted on the front panel. The clip on mine was clear of the bumper when I had the hard spare cover fitted. I've also rotated a number of other covers for people and this hasn't been an issue.

Thanks both, the space on the bottom of mine does look tight but I'll check

Scooby has plenty of clearance between the bumper and the wheel cover.

Checked mine today, judging by the marks on the front bumper I'm guessing it didn't fit and was moved
