Anyone else coming from the midlands?

Now that everything is sorted with our new adventure in Somerset (see other post: Alpine Grove Touring Park, South Somerset) we are able to offer two things.

1) For anyone who might want to convoy from the South West area, we are happy to be a rendezvous point and to lead some vans to the Henge - approx 75 mins away.

2) For anyone who would like to join the days activities from further afield, we can offer either; an overnight place to park, with EHU (you will need your own toilet facilities as our toilet block is currently closed down for the winter I’m afraid) or; a very favourable rate for one of our log cabins, for a night or two or longer if desired.

Pm me for details if you are interested.

Think it would be rude not to come and pay a visit as we are nearly on your doorstep.. Count us in

The offer of a place to park can be either before the visit to the stones, or after, or even both of you would like. The only advisory is you will need your own toilet facilities.

Eclipse dropping out - more room on the lunch table if anyone wants to join.

Can we have one more seat at the table please. Family expanding by the day!

Here's the menu for our lunch @ The Wheatsheaf. They have done me a deal on a 2 and 3 course set-menu. On that basis I have agreed that people will pay CASH for their individual meals. So please remember to bring the right amount!!!

We're National Trust members so we have booked our tickets to see the pebbles too - 11am.

Can't wait!!!

At this rate we should look at an association national trust membership!

For Scooby the steak pie followed by sponge and custard is looking favourite at the moment!

It's 30 mins to Stonehenge from there.

10am sounds good. We’ll be there.

On that basis I'll plan to be at Fleet Services South at around 9.20 to get to Starbucks at 10am.
