Hill of death a nightmare but worth it as its dryer ground and a (little) quieter at the top! Were in the East camp site so hopefully see you there for a beer?

Saw a White 09 BraziBay heading West on the M4 just before Reading Services today at 3.50pm.
(Possibly going to Glastonbury)

Hi Jamie/Jason (and anyone else going)
We would be interested in your thoughts on the event once its over
In particular we would like to know whether the head line act - the Wombles of course - have still got it Laughing

Tallulah is now in her way, in the smaller east campsite I think.

Whilst it may be raining now - there was some sun at the start
For those of us at home (wishing we were there - or not ) here are some pics we encountered

I've just been speaking to some friends there who have said that its raining and really muddy. You've still got to love it. What makes me laugh is when you see people covering themselves in the mud, and sliding around, all good fun, but at the end of the day its cow poo Surprised Laughing

Talking to them and watching it on the telly I'm really starting to miss not being there Sad

Still, the it can't be as bad as these pics I took at my first Glasto in 2005:

Did you have a good time then Smile

How were the camping fields? Any difficulties getting off?

I suppose the sun will have dried up some of the mud come Sunday turning it into proper gloopy stuff.

Yeh we had a great time. We left Sunday night so no probs getting off site. Kids loved seeing the Wombles (and Super Womble!) .... We saw Jimmy Cliff, Coldplay and lots of the samller bands / performers. Ive been going since 1990 and its certainly changed for the better over the years but I think they will never sort the mud out Rolling Eyes

Still as usual we had a great time....Might try Cornbury Festival out one year - Have you been?

Now that they're sold out there is no mention of the price either. Anyone know how much they were?

I'm compiling a list of festivals with dates and ticket prices and will publish it when complete (ish).

Tim - maybe a 'festivals' section?
