Here are some words and a dozen pics of our weekend:
Arrived in the evening sun with our friends at around 6.45pm on Friday night
Took around 35-40mins to have the Motordome Sleeper fully pegged out before having something to eat
'Drank in' the atmosphere from our pitch that evening – with our own drink or two along the way
In the morning we awoke to an overcast sky – but at least it was dry
This site was much larger than the first Dub Aid last year – with plenty of room
Here is a pic looking across to the stalls and the main marquee to the RHS
After a traditional English breakfast we took a leisurely stroll around the show
There seemed more stalls than last year - including all the usual show ‘stuff’
We still like this one off paint scheme
Various bands were playing during the day as well as in the evening
There was also an auction in between the music – the RNLI being the main charity this year
Did not manage to win any thing at this year’s auction
Stopped off at the VW day parking area before lunch and saw this Kombi
Turned out to be Lulu who came over for a chat after my note under their wiper – it was good to meet you
After some afternoon kite flying with our friends it was getting cold towards the evening
Wrapped up warm after dinner to go and ‘experience the entertainment’ with the odd drink or two
In the morning we awoke to a heavy frost but clear skies and sunshine
Went around some of the stalls again - the flags were flying high
The RNLI stand had a Brazi Bay - so there was three at the show in one form or another
The Show’n’Shine was on Sunday and did the sun shine brightly
We liked this vehicle the best . . .
This was a unique trailer we spotted – contains a BBQ and a sound system!
Selling for £600 - shame about the colour
Went back to Scooby for a late lunch before starting to clear up
‘Billylaine’ stopped by for a chat – a previous Brazi Bay owner who sold it 2 years ago
Good to meet you and have a chat - he now has a Splitty and Eriba combination
Said goodbye to our friends and finished our packing
Here is Scooby ready for the off– left around 2.30pm
Had a FAB weekend – the first ‘sleepover’ of the season – here’s to many more
