Subject: Good News, Bought a 2007 Danbury !!! Tue Apr 20, 2010 8:32 am
Every cloud has a silver lining?
Well Last night I went and collected our new Van !! After missing out on the 2008 van here on braz.bay.com, I searched long and hard and found a really good 2007 model on pistonheads.com
It’s a Rio, rhd rolling on Fuchs style wheels and dropped by 50mm. Side step, and reversing camera, chrome pack… On the inside we get an oven (oooH the luxury) and all the usual fridge cabinets etc.
Very very happy that the house sale money came through and that this van is now our new ride.
First trip out is Santa Pod this weekend for Big Bang
Here is the new beast ……. http://pistonheads.com/sales/1614459.htm

Bought this second hand and didnt any service book / handbook with it at all.
Now got a warning light on and I would like to 'check the book' so to speak, before I go top up the oil / water. Just the basics, but always like to know whats' what on a new engine. I have lots of experience on the aircooled motor, but this watercooled polo derived unit is a new one on me.
So, its a favour im after. Do you have a watercooled bay and have any info on topping up water / oil , the basics? (what all the warnign lamps mean)
Is anyone willing to photocopy the relevant page and post it to me? !
Ta Dean

Hi Dean,
Take your rear cushion out of the boot area, undo the wing nuts from inside the engine and take of the plate, you then get access to all the main bits, water oil etc. Call jason at danbury and he may have a spare book he can send you(its in portugese) however, the pictures tell the story. Good luck

It's the coolant level that's low Dean - top it up and all should be well.
