| you can get them on ebay, about £2.00 to £3.00.
I got them from Autoelectricsupplies.co.uk for £5.81 whilst I was ordering other stuff.
Search for 'Add a circuit' blade fuse holder.

Sorry for the delay ST. The first dry day for ages, so managed to finalise the wiring. Day time photo Dusk photo. I also wired in an illuminated switch, so that although they come on with the ignition, I have full control, and can switch them off if I want to. (Just got to fit my new headlight bulbs now) ________________________________________________________________________________ Growing old is mandatory Growing up is optional

| Thanks Tim, when I first fitted them I thought they might be too small, but they do chuck out a fair bit of light. ________________________________________________________________________________ Growing old is mandatory Growing up is optional | |

| Fraid so, last time was in Weston with a snooty wpc who proudly told me she was ex-traffic (wonder why she was ex) and knew all about number plates. Apparently with the space between the A and R it wasn't as memorable as it should be, and if I sped off at high speed from an accident, people wouldn't be able to give my number. (Not the sharpest of knives in the cutlery drawer on both counts) Anyway after using all my diplomatic skills to get out of a ticket, and as we are in Weston-super-Mare at least once a week, I changed it to avoid the aggro in case we happily chanced to meet again. | |

| I got pulled for having a yellow screw on a black letter. It was only there temporarily but the filth reckoned it changed the look of the letter. No ticket - just a 'get it sorted' warning.
The thing is, I actually reckon reg plates that say something are more memorable than those that don't. So if it was a case of needing to recall a reg number ... ________________________________________________________________________________ Max SportsKombi - The Bay Racer @brazilianvwbay

| There was talk of them relaxing the rules on spacing etc on private plates recently. After all its the government that often sells these plates to people making up words......I also agree with tim that it makes them more memorable not less..... being pulled for a yellow screw in a black letter is unbelievable You'd think there was better things for them to be doing like fighting crime ..... | |

| Just an update on the running lights, I don't know if you have had any problems with yours Tim, but I was a bit miffed the other day when I found two of the Led's weren't working. I rang the techy guys at Ring to see if it was repairable, but they said probably not, but if I wanted to send it back they would have a look. Bearing in mind the cost of post and packing and associated hassle etc with not much of a positive outcome, I decided to replace it with a new one, which I have just done. The problem is the led's are soldered onto a circuit board and the connections seem to have corroded adjacent to where the feed wires are attached to the board. As it is now u/s I may have a play around with it, to see if I can repair it. | |

| It wasn't a real problem Tim, took me about ten minutes to change it, just took out the side screws and disconnected the bullets. Probably a one off that couldn't be predicted. Well pleased with them otherwise, and a worthwhile addition. (If I manage to repair it I may convert the lenses to red, and stick them on the back, get some blue floods underneath and then I'll be really rockin' ) | |
