| Here are some pics of Absinthe with her new Magna Blinds from Delilah's. I'm struggling a bit with the front screen as I can't find a suitable metal surface to attach to. I'll have look at the weekend to see what alternatives I can find. View from outside with spots: And inside with checks: ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

| Looking good!
So they're held on with magnets and thermally lined in order to replace both the silver screens and curtains, is that correct? ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| Yes that's the plan. We went for double sided to get a choice of two patterns. They have blackout material in the middle for added darkness!
We've gone for "dummy" curtains but you can have standard ones instead. We thought it would be as easy to stick the blinds up as pull the curtains, plus I wouldn't have to duck under the sliding door curtain in the middle if the night if you get my drift.
It's the front I'm struggling with. I may have to fit poppers to help fit them. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

I can imagine its very difficult ducking under curtains. Tricky blighters and so impenetrable. | |

| It's as tricky as Terry Tricky from Tricksville, when you're 6'5" and in quite a hurry!

| Very nice curtains, we got blackout material in ours makes it lovely and dark although you use your lights more inside | |

| Sorted the front blind by fitting some velcro patches at the top. Holds to the sides with the magnets and just drapes on the console at the bottom. ________________________________________________________________________________ Absinthe makes the heart grow fonder

| Really like that green spotted material. You've done a cracking job and the front window problem neatly sorted. Well done. | |

| After seeing yours Walmsleys, think I might get a set, not sure what colour to go for though Got a couple of questions. How easy are they to put up. Do the magnets end up sticking to everything? What do you do with them when they're not being used, are they bagged and stored or can you roll them up and keep them attached to the metal work? ________________________________________________________________________________ Ginger man without a ginger van | |

| Kiteman. We've not had any issues with them sticking to each other and they were relatively easy to put up.
They come in a matching bag for storage but I'm planning on keeping them under the rear cushion at the back of the can to save space.
My advice would be to measure very carefully to make sure that Lizzie makes them the right size.

| Finally got round to ordering mine. Ended up going for poppered blinds though, so they can stay attached. Still have the magnets in the bottom to hold in place when lowered ________________________________________________________________________________ Ginger man without a ginger van | |

| My blinds turned up today so spent the afternoon fitting them. I ended up going for the Poppered blinds, so they can stay in situ, with the magnets on the bottom to hold them in place when they're down. They've done a superb job, very pleased with the results. Blins up. Might shorten the tabs a little Blinds Down. Think I might have measured the back side window a bit on the narrow side. Doesn't notice when your laying down. ________________________________________________________________________________ Ginger man without a ginger van | |
