Where are you looking or booking for this three day Bank Holiday Weekend?

Working Sat/Sun and Monday but then I have 4 weekends off, one wedding and a weeks holiday which we plan to go to Weymouth. Tim

We're busy at a family birthday party this weekend, Tallulah will be out and about somewhere else, but we'll be out the following weekend on our postponed easter camping trip!

Nice one Tallers me hearty! We're off to the wonderful Exe valley, where we will heave to at the Exe valley camp site,

We're away this weekend but haven't decided where yet. I'm trying to wait to see where will be driest on Fri/Sat - the rest of the weekend looks fine so far.

Yipee - we're off to the Lakes for the weekend.

I must have rung every site in the North today to find a pitch without success.

I rang this site: Traffords and the lovely Cumbrian lady was ace. "It's' quiet this weekend, I don't advertise ya see". "Just turn up on Friday and see us on Saturday - help yourself to a pitch"

I used to camp with the family as a kid about 5 miles from here in a very basic farmer's field so I can't wait. A plus is that we may get to see the Ospreys on Bassenthwaite Lake* as well.

*striclty speaking Bassenthwaite is the ONLY lake in the Lake District - the others are Meres and tarns.

All good for us then!

Change of plan - I'd be too depressed with heavy rain tomorrow in the Lakes so we've switched to this site which we found last year. Still not cracking the flags but not as wet.

Arrow Bank Park

I recall two pubs, a dog walk and Mrs B can go to the massive antique Fair at Builth Wells. Everyone's a winner.

We've used the awning on hard standing a few times. We've got the hard standing pegs and they go in no problem. I prefer grass but at least you're guaranteed a level pitch and the groundsheet keeps much cleaner.

Boris is probably saying, "I'll have some of the wrap but no more chillis for me please, Mum"
