2019 Cotswold meet - early May bank holiday 3rd to 6th

So the party is on - there are still some spaces for new and existing members to join us:

The weekend will run something like - arrivals friday night - chip and fish van on site for those that wish to queue! - Saturday - general catch up, chin wag, be merry - optional walk and/or cycle, maybe skittles?, Sunday - Kombi convoy to local Cotswold town, Communal BBQ, Monday - pack up, lunch at the Norman Knight (optional)
- depart for home

A good camp site with things to doo for all ages - loved the wooden skittle alley
The pitches were very large and spacious and all with hook up (I think).
There is a short walk into Charlbury with a great Deli and three pubs!
Great country side for a Kombi Konvoy, with some Kool Kombis already signed up for another year - what's not to like

Lordy we’re full up. Sold out as fast as carfest - well almost. Great news Daz.

If anyone else would like to join us please let me know and I’ll try and book the next strip of pitches.

Team Tallulah would love to join the fun, but if this years bank holiday is anything to go by then we will be far too busy entertaining the hordes of campers visiting Somerset!

Opening our swimming pool boosted ice cream sales in our shop and we alsom sold out of a whole freezer (industrial size...) full of ice cream!

So sad that you can't visit the Cotswolds but on the other hand fantastic that things are flying for you down in Somerset..

@ALS Did we get a pitch for next year's Cotswold's trip? I've told Jo we did but not sure we did.
If not I'll sign up for the Hospice Cycle Ride again.

Angela @als communicates directly with the campsite on this one. Hopefully she'll pick up the message when she returns from holiday.

Update on booking for this event.

I have spoken to the campsite today - vague - is all I can say.

A new booking system is imminent - rumoured 1st October - I will call them again on that day.

It may be that we all have to be primed to book individually on that day.

There's going to be a new map and pitch numbers and all sorts.

The good news is that they have no bookings taken currently so in theory everyone who wants to attend should be able to.

It may be useful for people to re-confirm with me that you want to attend and then if I can book as a rally I shall know the correct numbers.

In any case watch out for further details on the 1st October.

In terms of activities - I think we would follow last years model. A walk or cycle on the Saturday. A convoy to a Cotswold village on the Sunday. A lunch at the Norman Knight on the way home on the Monday

Here you will be able to browse pitches, prices and availability and make bookings.
