Hi Abs just read your blog very enjoyable, I changed our leisure battery from a 85amp to a 110amp and at the sleep over with fridge on all weekend and with all the leds and neons lit both evenings we still had two yellow lights on the volt meter in the morning. My old battery like you would have been flat by Sat morning. Tim

If its any help Abs, I changed my leisure battery before the sleepover to this one.

http://www.tayna.co.uk/ELECSOL-100-Carbon-Fibre-Leisure-Battery-Positive-Front-Left-P5579.html

The old one wasn't holding its charge, and it appeared to be sweating a bit.

Your dimensions and terminal post position should be the same, but worth a check if you decide to change.

Same model as our new one, very happy with it so far, runs everything for at least 2 days from fully charged.

Hi Abs I fitted a Numax 110amp its a big old beast had to modify the locker and turn the battery 90 degrees as slightly longer but what it has done, the jack and wheel brace etc now fits down the side of the battery. If you want some pics give me a shout. Tim

Thanks Tim. I thnk I'll go for the Elecsol suggested by DL above. I think it will fit without modifying anything and will be easier for me. My business partner has just put one on his yacht and has been singing its praises.

I would appreciate some pics of your lights though sometime. Smile

Video uploaded to YouTube - actually gets to the campsite now!

View quickly before YouTube take it down because I've put some of my own paid for music on it!

Never mind YouTube asking you to take it down, I would be more worried about getting caught for the extreme speed you were doing down those narrow country lanes!
