Cabin : Exec 026Location : BedfordshirePosts : 612Join date : 2013-05-11 Subject: Re: Gutter Bulk Strip Thu Jun 05, 2014 10:29 pm we have used the figure of eight strip - we found it quite tricky to get the tension right it was either too tight or too loose and we had a bid of an accident last year when we did nt have it tight enough and during some strong winds we returned to the van to find that it had come undone and was flapping against the paint work - took quite a bit of T cut to fix the issue . This year we bought an open sided awning which has a pipe and 3 clamps it's a much more reliable method of attaching the apron of the driveaway awning or indeed the open sided one. Not sure where you can buy a pole and clamp set from as a spare but just noticed in the JK catalogue in our mail today that they sell the clamps part number J12003 they may also do the poles.
