Thanks, it's good to clarify where permission should come from.
Perhaps you could negotiate a blanket permission for the Forum from the suppliers. Worth you asking them?

As AbsintheKombi has pointed out the Forum has hundreds of members.
My points about more pictures in the calendar format and/or the use of these existing shots would offer easy routes for the wider membership to actively participate.

I don't think you realise what goes into putting the calendar together, it takes long enough to get enough pictures together for just 1 a month, let alone 4. Then there's the editing/cropping/resizing that has to be done, getting the correct resolution and finally actually putting it all together, getting the orders/payment and the posting, which is all done in my spare time

I can help with some of the image work.

I've just ordered one from Tallulah's friend - took me an hour to do. I'm happy to organise the Forum one if we can get enough pics.

It's a self imposed time limit, Scooby. I like to use ones from the current year for next year's calendar. That way they mean more to us when they appear.

Many thanks to those who have offered to help out with this. As you've gathered it isn't something that can just be thrown together for a variety of reasons. Whilst I'm not involved in the 'production' process now - as I have cannily delegated in an Abs type way - can I remind folks that it does need to carry the brazilianvwbay logo and is subject to copyright etc etc. Boring stuff but thought I'd just mention it at this early stage.

My copyright lawyer will be in touch shortly...

Many thanks to those who have helped contribute to this over the years but certainly in my household technology has replaced a hard copy calendar. The ability to sync my diary between my varying gadgets and those close to me far outweighs the nice factor of a calendar on my wall.

However, I have something up my sleeve that may ease the pain .....

Shame. I'll have to console myself with Absinthe's 2015 calendar:

Even though I've got my own calendar for Absinthe, I'm really missing having a BraziBay one too.

I'm happy to help with a Calendar for 2016 - I, effectively, retire at the end of next month so I'll need something to keep me busy.  

I suggest that rather than wait until the end of the year for photos, if you want yours to be considered for the calendar, you can email it to me and I'll keep them until Oct/Nov time and collate everything in the last couple of months of the year. I may, then, be able to include more than one van on each month.

I'm sure there'll be loads from the Sleepover and the Kaper to France, plus all the other events during the year.

If I get enough I'll try and include them on the month they were taken. I've got an idea to boost circulation but I'll PM you separately about that Tim.

I'll give everyone a reminder at the start of each month and you can email them (in as high a resolution as possible please) to C13MPR@btinternet(DOT)com

Let's see if we can make it happen for 2016.
