| Picked up some of Oli's friends and took them all to a lake for a birthday party and fun on a Jetski.
As luck would have it there was a BraziBay already there, one more to arrive shortly and the owners of a fourth a few minutes after that!
What fun! ________________________________________________________________________________ www.alpinegrovetouringpark.com Twitter: @AlpineGrove Facebook: facebook.com/alpinegrovetouringpark

| Looked a fab time guys , thought of you all when we passed the lakes at Lydd. We went down to Dungerness with TigerLily and parked outside the Britannia Inn and enjoyed a Fish and Chip supper in the afternoon sun. ________________________________________________________________________________ Steve, Jo TigerLily and Carra the Child lovin' Golden Cocker | |

I did actually forget the mushy peas which I was suitably reprimanded for once the waitress had gone ! ________________________________________________________________________________ Steve, Jo TigerLily and Carra the Child lovin' Golden Cocker

| Took 'Mish' to Brand Autos today for some emergency welding. The tow bar has parted company with the van bodywork underneath, the bolts have ripped out, due to a touch of the rust bug. Paul has worked his magic, he has voiced concern that he thinks there should be a bracket fitted towards the bumper to prevent the tow bar flexing vertically. He is going to sort that out for me, will post photos when I collect the van. | |

| Thanks to Danbury
Was down in Yate today for a Minor Service. All parts and labour paid for with the voucher donated by Danbury and auctioned at the Kombi Sleepover 2016 (a contribution of £290 to our charity)
Also new MOT pass at the same visit. osg

| Had wheel tracking (alignment) sorted as there was wear on the outside of the front tyres. Interesting that the main dealers(e.g. Kwik-fit, National tyres) now cannot do this on the Brazilian bay as they only use a four-wheel device that needs the rear wheels completely exposed to allow their jigs to rotate (or something like that!!) - so had to shop around for an old-style garage/tyre unit to use a laser set-up that would fit. Now sorted. Comment was made that it looked from the tyre wear pattern that the tyre pressures recommended by Danbury are under inflated on the front (lowered and alloys) - anyone else had this feedback? | After a FAB week in Bakewell - with great weather - we returned home this weekend. Scooby looked a little neglected as we left him at home this time. So to give him some TLC we gave hime a wash today - that put the sparkle back! ________________________________________________________________________________ Proud winners of Spike's Trophy 2017 Scooby - Born To Run | |

| Tim I recall that the recommended pressures in Danbury "manual" was for alloys (lowered) 32 front, 36 rear I think The manual is in the van which is in the bodyworks being de-rusted so I cannot check today | |

| I've checked the paperwork that came with everything else from Danbury, and there is no mention of tyre pressures for alloys and lowered.
However on the n/s door frame is a VW sticker with tyre pressures front (standard 33psi...loaded 35psi) rear (standard 39psi ....loaded 50psi)
Having got through a couple of sets of tyres early on, I now run on 35 front and 45 rear, and up the rear to 50 when travelling fully loaded.
I can only assume that I hadn't taken in to consideration the extra weight of the conversion as the rears were tending to wear on the inside of the tread.
Since upping the pressures the tyres have lasted much longer, and appear to be wearing evenly across the tread.
