What did you do to your VW today?

Have stayed in both Bath Marina Campsite and the C&CC site in Oxford on our travels, both are great little sites.
Easy Park & Ride just down the road from Bath Marina, great for getting into town. Also park and ride close to Oxford site or lovely walk in to town along the river.

Yes, although I took my bike and cycled to Bath station and back, to get to Bristol. Plus, when in Oxford, I cycled up to the John Radcliffe and Churchill hospitals on successive days

Loaded Scooby up with clothes, food & drink ready for the weekend.

Had a look at installing the new Empi shifter, decided that there's going to be plenty of adjusting needed to clear the handbrake (there's no way the standard one will in first as it is . . . )

Drove 'all the way back' from Henley after a FAB weekend with Brazi friends Als & Greenjc90.
The Gin Cruise on Saturday was really good - some of you on Facebook may have seen some pics!

Took Sadie to the builders merchant to get some fencing. For some reason Margaret did not want all the wood in her new car

Got my compressor and Waxoyl gun working.
Drivers door and wheel arch protected.
New plastic liner for the drivers door too.

Got an old toothbrush and cleaned the channels in which the rear windows sit.

Pleased with this work, I then cleaned the edges of the rubber on the pop-top.

Filled it with tools and an overnight bag anddrove it to Langley.

Picked up some wall tiles, new flooring, paint and skirting boards and took it to my mother in law’s house to do some jobs.

Local roads now treated with grit & salt. So now standing on the drive for a few months with an occasional clean and re-positioning of the tyres. Batteries to be kept topped up via the hook-up cable.
De-humidifier unit with crystals in the sink. Soft-furnishings removed and curtains spread open. Roll on Spring.

WD40 locks, put in reverse gear and took hand brake off, placed a de-humidifier inside Scooby by the rear unit.

Curtains to be removed soon for the winter.

Treated rust under passenger seat. Filled, premiered and resprayed.
Fitted passenger underseat rubber mats.
Resprayed rear wheel arch.

Was that you I saw driving south past Heathrow just before lunchtime today?

There was an orange Brazibay going the other way, as I was heading towards Oxford.

Bumble sits on a slope, so cannot do that; having said that, I'll be out in her soon again.

Possibly staying overnight in Dorchester and Oxford next week (must look up the weather forecast first!)

rear gear stick coupling
front gear stick bush
center gear rod bushes
fitted o/s/f door seal
adjusted bottom link pins
tied up reversing and fog lamp wires
fitted new CSP gear stick
set up and adjusted clutch cable

got an email this morning saying i`ll be amazed with the gear change now, looking forward to driving him home

How was your drive home
Were there changing gears improvements

Massive difference, literally like night and day. The CSP shifter isn't cheap but really well made sits nearer the driver and with the bushes all sorted as well it's so much nicer to drive

Took Sadie to the local stables yesterday to get a trailer of horse manure for the garden. Never towed anything before so I was feeling proud and manly to have achieved this tiny thing.

Our vans take to pulling a trailer very well. The one thing I keep forgetting to attach each time is that mini flag-pole so I can see that the trailer is still following me in the rear view mirror!
