KOMBI Kaper - August 2018 - Somerset/Cornwall

Hi Guys , as we've discounted Ibiza for 2018 as a Kontinetal Kaper does anybody fancy hooking up for a UK Kaper in Somerset/Cornwall in August?

Any trip is in the very early stages of planning but thought I'd throw it our there before you make your summer holiday plans.

Commencing on 4th August we'd look to all meet up at Alpine Grove Touring Park , Chard , Somerset  where we will be made very welcome by the lovely "new" owners.

No concrete plans have been made post Alpine Grove but the view is either as a group or in smaller groups to disperse into Cornwall for a week and then maybe re-convene at Alpine Grove before the end of our holiday/s if we haven't already overstayed our welcome.

If you fancy a break from a few nights to a couple of weeks in Somerset/Cornwall from Saturday 4th August and haven't already made plans then show your interest on this thread and we'll put our heads together and see what we can come up with.

Sites are being reviewed , contacted as we speak with respect to group bookings , availability etc. etc.

We're already planning a trip down to the west county in the school holidays and intend on visiting Alpine Grove on our way down to Devon & Cornwall. I'll check the dates but we should be in for this

It is a FAB wedding shot on the calendar, but for some reason Scooby Doo like the November pic too!

Update...

I think we are looking at Alpine Grove for a week commencing Saturday 4th August and then a second week heading onto the North Devon/Cornish coast.

As Keith and Serena are now the proud new owners of Alpine Grove we'll have no problem getting a group booking there (hopefully   )  and for the second site we are looking at Woolacombe Sands. They suggest they can take group bookings so am awaiting a call back.

I have amended my post of 09.27 with proposed site details for second part of holiday...

PM sent to all interested parties, site have no problem putting us together as a group.
Once I make our booking I'll have a booking number and pitch number that you'll need to request you are near too (or not )

Well We live in Cornwall, but I like the idea of visiting and supporting Alpine Grove, along with meeting everyone, so I'm in.

Sam is currently speaking with Woolacombe Sands and looks like we'll be moving to there on Friday the 10th August rather than the 11th.

Friday's probably a better day for driving between Chard and Woolacombe anyway.

We're already away till the 9th .... but its possible that I could join you for the 2nd week ?
