The season approaches - hurrah!! This means the sale (and use) of campervans increases.
So what does this mean?
From a sellers' point of view, this is the time that you need to get your BraziBay into tip top shape, so that it shines above the competition. That flat leisure battery you've been meaning to charge for ages won't help you when a prospective buyer wants to see the interior lights shining or check that the fridge is working. Nor will a short amount of time left to go on the MOT. Remember, road tax now changes with owner so it's irrelevant how long remains on the camper. Have a read through the BraziBay Buyers Guide I wrote for VW Heritage and see what buyers will be looking at!
BraziBay Buyers Guide
Similarly if you're looking to get into a Kombi, and we all here would actively encourage you to do so, then make good use of all the information available to you here on brazilianvwbay.com. You'll find your new campervan in our classifieds, in our sponsors' showroom and classifieds (Brazilian Kampers, Just Kampers,) on eBay, Autotrader, Gumtree and even carandclassic.co.uk - look at them all!!
Buying a Kombi can seem a daunting task. You're going to invest (yes it is an investment - in comparison to a regular car) a fair amount of money and naturally you may have anxieties over what you may be buying. This anxiety works against both seller and buyer. So remove the anxiety. How you ask? 2 ways: buy from a recognised specialist or have any Kombi you're giving serious consideration inspected by someone who knows them well. An inspection works as well for a seller as much as a buyer. If you state in your advertisement that you have had your camper specialist inspected, then that makes it stand out against the competition.
Good luck!
You've got my number right?!
