Subject: Reupholstery RnR bed Mon Aug 05, 2024 4:45 pm
5/8/24 Hi You lot, 2007 water-cooled. I'm looking to get my RnR bed rehupholstered. Foam needs replacing too. Does anyone have any recommendations/ideas? Has anyone had foam cut to fit the engine bay? I'm based near Oxford and quite like doing things face to face, but seems a lot of this type of thing happens online. Any input appreciated. Thanks. Mark

This fella (James Ley) does lots of T2 reupholstery and custom work.

If you go on the Late Bay forum (https://thelatebay.com/index.php) you'll find him with lots of photo examples of his work.

Perhaps too far to travel but Tockfield were the firm who did the Danbury upholstery work. They changed our cloth to leather and did a fine job We also bought a memory foam bed topper from them At that time you could camp overnight on the premises whilst they did the re-fitting
