Adding temporary drivers to insurance...

Hi, my sister and father have both asked if they can borrow our van in the summer when I am away and not using it. Adrian Flux do 28 day temporary insurance but have quoted £180 each for 4 weeks! They recommended tempcover.com but predictably their menus dont include T2s let alone Brazis. The alternative is to add them both to my policy for £264 which is essentially doubling the premium. Any ideas or suggestions?!

Is it possible to do it the other way round and see if their own insurance will cover driving the van?
